GoNotari may collect account information such as name, email address, phone number, role, service address, booking details, uploaded documents, notary credential documents, payout setup status, support requests, and payment-related checkout records.
How we use information
We use information to create accounts, coordinate notary bookings, estimate pricing, match customers with notaries, support provider onboarding, process secure payments through Stripe, manage payouts, provide support, and improve app reliability.
Location information
With permission, the mobile app may use device location to help prefill a service address, estimate travel distance, match nearby notaries, and support live job tracking.
Documents and uploads
Customers may upload documents for a booking. Notary providers may upload identification, commission documents, bond documents, W-9 information, or payout setup materials. These files are used only to support the requested service, verification, operations, or legal compliance.
Payments and payouts
GoNotari uses Stripe and Stripe Connect for checkout, payment processing, and provider payout setup. GoNotari does not store full card numbers or bank account numbers in the mobile app.
Sharing information
We may share information with service providers needed to operate the platform, including Supabase, Stripe, hosting providers, email/support tools, app store services, and verified notaries or customers involved in a booking.
Data retention and security
We retain information as needed to operate GoNotari, meet legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain business records. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information.
Your choices
You may contact GoNotari to request account updates, support with uploaded information, or questions about privacy. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, payment, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.
